Accra- September 30, 2026: MTN Ghana has been recognised with four awards at the 6th National Governance and Business Leadership Summit (NGBLS) 2026, in recognition of the company’s excellence in procurement, supply chain management, and business operations.
The summit, held on Friday, September 25, 2026, under the theme “Governance, Integrity & Enterprise Performance in a Transforming Economy”, brought together leaders from business, governance, regulation, and professional services to discuss corporate governance, ethical leadership, accountability, and sustainable growth.
The honours received by MTN Ghana and members of its Supply Chain Management team were:
• Excellence in Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Management (Telecommunications) – MTN Ghana
• Outstanding Supply Chain Transformation Team of the Year (Telecommunications) – MTN Ghana Supply Chain Management Team
• Supply Chain Leader of the Year (Telecommunications) – Patrick Afari, General Manager, Supply Chain and General Services
• Top 100 Procurement & Supply Chain Leaders of the Year – Eugenia Lamptey, Sourcing Manager.
The recognition highlights the critical role MTN Ghana’s Supply Chain Management team plays in supporting the business through effective procurement, strong governance practices, and operational excellence.

The awards were presented following a rigorous evaluation process that assessed nominees on governance excellence, strategic leadership, ethics and regulatory compliance, innovation, stakeholder impact, and measurable business outcomes.
Over the years, MTN Ghana has continued to strengthen its procurement and supply chain function through investments in technology, data-driven planning, and strategic partnerships. These efforts have improved efficiency, supported cost optimisation, and enhanced business resilience.
