Accra, August 21, 2026 — Nestlé Ghana Ltd has launched the Cerelac Akyɛdeɛ Pa Promotion, its first national consumer promotion for the brand in Ghana, offering consumers the opportunity to win cash and mobile rewards, educational scholarships and an all-expenses-paid family trip to Mauritius.
The launch was held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra and brought together representatives of Nestlé Ghana, the Cerelac team, media partners, retailers, distributors and other stakeholders.

Akyɛdeɛ Pa, which translates as “Good Gift,” is aimed at rewarding mothers, caregivers and families who have made Cerelac part of their children’s feeding journey over the years.
Nestlé Ghana said the promotion is intended not only to offer prizes but also to recognise the trust and loyalty consumers have placed in the brand.
The promotion features a range of rewards, including instant cash and mobile rewards, educational scholarships and an all-expenses-paid trip to Mauritius. Two lucky families will win the grand prize, with the Mauritius package covering travel, accommodation and experiences.
The company described the grand prize as an opportunity for winning families to create lasting memories while celebrating their connection with the Cerelac brand.
Speaking about Cerelac’s position in Ghana, Deborah Kwabla, Corporate Communication and Public Affairs Manager for Nestlé Ghana, described the product as a household brand that has supported mothers and caregivers as children transition from exclusive breastfeeding to complementary feeding.
Nestlé’s published information states that Cerelac is intended as a complementary food for infants from six months and is fortified with nutrients including iron, zinc, iodine and vitamins. [oai_citation:0‡Nestlé CWA](https://www.nestle-cwa.com/en/brands/allbrands/cerelac?utm_source=chatgpt.com)
Ms. Kwabla also highlighted the local content of Cerelac production in Ghana, noting that some key ingredients and packaging materials are sourced locally. Nestlé has previously stated that maize used in its cereal brands, including Cerelac, is sourced locally through its agricultural value-chain initiatives. She encouraged parents and caregivers to continue patronising Cerelac while taking advantage of the promotion and its various rewards.
Nestlé Ghana also called on media partners to help take information about the promotion to consumers across the country, while retailers and distributors were encouraged to make specially marked promotional packs available and assist consumers with participation.
Consumers have been encouraged to look out for the specially marked Cerelac packs and follow the promotion’s participation instructions for a chance to win.
The promotion has generated excitement around the possibility of winning practical rewards, particularly the educational scholarships, cash prizes and the Mauritius family holiday.
For Nestlé Ghana, the Akyɛdeɛ Pa Promotion is a gesture of appreciation to consumers whose loyalty has helped keep Cerelac in Ghanaian homes for generations.
With two families set to win the grand prize, Mauritius is expected to be the ultimate destination for the promotion’s biggest winners.
