Ghana’s mixed 4x100m freestyle relay team completed its race at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games with a time of 3:53.60.
Although the performance fell short of Ghana’s national record of 3:42.97, the team’s participation marked another important step in the country’s continued development in competitive swimming on the international stage.
The relay team demonstrated determination throughout the event, competing against some of the strongest swimming nations in the Commonwealth. While they were unable to surpass the national benchmark, their appearance reflects the growing presence of Ghanaian swimmers at elite global competitions.
With increased exposure and experience from major championships, Ghana’s swimmers will now look ahead to future international meets, aiming to improve their performances and challenge national records.
