VITO S-Class Services Ltd., a Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA)-authorised Private Vehicle Testing Station (PVTS), is transforming Ghana’s vehicle inspection landscape through innovative technology and efficient service delivery. The company has invested in advanced German testing equipment and fully automated inspection lanes designed to improve the speed, accuracy and reliability of vehicle inspections while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Unlike traditional inspection processes that often involve lengthy waiting times and multiple procedures, VITO S-Class completes a comprehensive vehicle inspection in approximately 10 minutes. The automated assessment evaluates essential safety components including wheel alignment, suspension systems, service and parking brakes, shock absorbers, headlights and trafficators.

Beyond the automated technical assessment, trained inspectors conduct detailed visual examinations of critical safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, first-aid boxes, warning triangles, jacks, wheel spanners, seat belts, reflectors and windscreens to ensure full compliance with road safety requirements.

Chief Executive Officer of VITO S-Class Services Ltd., Mrs Jacqueline Oppong Mensah, said the company’s mission is to simplify the inspection process while delivering exceptional customer service at every stage.

“Our vision is to create an experience where customers feel confident about the process from the moment they arrive until their service is completed. Technology is important, but ultimately it must translate into greater convenience, transparency and better service for every customer,” she said.

According to Mrs Oppong Mensah, innovation remains central to the company’s operations through its proprietary Vehicle Inspection Management System (VIMS), an intelligent digital platform that manages vehicle registration, inspection, data processing and certificate issuance in real time. The system improves operational efficiency, transparency, security and accuracy while reducing waiting times.

She further revealed that VITO S-Class has introduced an AI-powered Voice Assistant to provide instant information to customers and support staff throughout the inspection process. The digital assistant improves communication and enhances the overall customer experience by offering timely guidance on available services.

The company has also established the DVLA Ultra Center at its Dome facility in partnership with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority. The centre enables motorists to access multiple DVLA services under one roof, including vehicle registration, driver’s licence issuance, renewals, replacements, international driving permits and roadworthiness certification.

Mrs Oppong Mensah explained that bringing these services closer to residents of Dome and surrounding communities eliminates unnecessary travel, reduces congestion at existing DVLA offices and delivers a more efficient customer experience.

“We want motorists to experience a new standard of service—one that is convenient, transparent and customer-focused. Our investment in technology enables us to deliver faster and more reliable services without compromising safety or integrity,” she added.

With continued investment in automation, artificial intelligence and digital innovation, VITO S-Class Services Ltd. aims to set a new industry benchmark for vehicle inspection and licensing services while contributing to safer roads across Ghana.
