Speaking at the ceremony, Chief Executive Officer of VITO S-Class Services Ltd., Mrs Jacqueline Oppong Mensah, described Artificial Intelligence as the next frontier of vehicle inspection, stressing that the company’s investment represents a long-term commitment to improving operational efficiency while enhancing public confidence in Ghana’s transport sector.
“Our vision is to build a vehicle inspection ecosystem powered by innovation, transparency and professionalism,” Mrs Oppong Mensah said.
At the centre of the company’s digital transformation agenda is the Vehicle Inspection Management System (VIMS), an intelligent platform designed to manage every stage of the inspection process electronically—from vehicle registration and inspection scheduling to testing, certification and record management.
The digital platform is expected to significantly reduce processing time, improve operational accuracy, minimise human error and strengthen accountability across inspection centres.
